Just read “Alternative Fusion Technologies Heat Up/Start-ups in fusion-energy research are fueled by venture capital and a lot of hope”. Let’s all pray and hope these privately funded projects achieve a breakthrough in the next 5-10 years or so!
Nuclear fusion is probably one of the best bets out there to provide for enough energy for humanities needs. We can then quickly mothball wind power and other blind alleys of human folly! :-)
