Ethnic Prejudice and Wealth Gaps: Does the First Lead to the Second?

Very recommendable! Well written! The title is not very well chosen.

It can not be mentioned enough that other minorities (e.g. Chinese, Koreans, Japanese) also suffered prejudice, language barriers, and discrimination, but many succeeded. Many Asian Americans even have outperformed white Americans.

I just blogged here yesterday about an Assistant Professor at Princeton University who naively thinks reparations and higher minimum wages are good for black Americans to overcome a perceived/spurious racial wealth gap.

Ethnic Prejudice and Wealth Gaps: Does the First Lead to the Second? | Mises Wire As politicians at all levels debate paying black Americans "reparations" for chattel slavery, a careful study of the wealth gaps between ethnic groups shows that ethnic prejudice explains very little. Other factors matter more.
