There is some sort of an unholy alliance or even abusive relationship between the business of human health and the major concern of most humans for their health and well being!
The medical profession and the medical business can never have enough patients whether real or imagined! The more patients the better the business for both of them! The more diseases, the better! A disease can never be too serious enough!
Natural, but effective remedies or simple changes in behavior are easily and frequently dismissed! The power of the human immune system to deal with many diseases etc. is often almost deliberately discounted in favor of new medications and treatments!
The global SARS-CoV-2/Covid-19 pandemic has mightily exposed these negative consequences on a tremendous scale! A fairly harmless disease (as was known by latest mid-2020) was exploited in reckless and irresponsible ways with the help of hapless governments!
