Africans present in Tudor England

Amazing stuff! Africans were free in Tudor England.
There are records of about 200 Africans living in Tudor England across the country. There were also interracial marriages. Some were making a living as independent tradesmen.
Francis Drake brought several Africans to England. When Drake attacked Panama, he formed alliances with African enslaved there to fight the Spanish. One of these slaves escaped to Drake's ship, then even lived in Drakes household in England for four years and later joined him circumnavigating the world. One of the ship captains in Drake's fleet was an African.
