This Houston Police Department police officer appears to be the child of or an immigrant from Vietnam given his last name.
"The Houston police officer who may face federal charges for participating in the Capitol takeover resigned Thursday, ahead of his disciplinary meeting with HPD Chief Art Acevedo, officials said.
The officer, Tam Pham, was placed on administrative leave Wednesday.
Pham, an 18-year veteran of the Houston Police Department, was believed to have attended the insurrection and entered the Capitol building, Acevedo said this week. ..."
