It appears that in the 20th year of the 21st century, plain old water, probably the most important substance in the universe, is still, after centuries of intense research, a largely unknown chemical compound. Water is hiding its true properties from our prying eyes, like the secret life of a closed oyster.
Just check out these few examples referenced below in the Sources. Unfortunately, I don’t have the time to go deeper into it. And I have read many more articles describing recent scientific discoveries about water.
