Just read this article that researchers toughened glass with nanoparticles (S1). Very nice! Very useful, I am sure!
However, as someone who has to live with cavity prone teeth, I have wished all my life for someone to invent something to permanently and effectively toughen my teeth enamel.
I am pretty sure it will not be a dentist to invent such a thing! Oh wait, this dentist could make billions of dollars and put many of his/her colleagues out of business! :-)
