Fahrverbote (driving bans) In Germany

Posted: 7/4/2019

The EU and Germany sure know how to ruin an entire industry, i.e. the automobile industry!

Why did we have these so called exhaust emission manipulation scandals by companies such as VW or BMW or Audi?
Is it possible that the environmental regulations in the EU and in Germany are extremely strict ,perhaps even fanatic driven by the green lobby, or so strict that they are unreasonable to be met? It is quite possible.
I congratulate these German car makers that they tried to circumvent these regulations to the benefit of consumers and citizens!

Too many German politicians are going around repeating they want to eliminate combustion engine vehicles in the near future! What socialists and central planners they are!

German cities compete with each other to be the first or the most consequent city in imposing Fahrverbote (driving bans) on its streets! They base their decision on heavily manipulated air pollution measurements! It is quite revealing that apparently the EU nitrogen dioxide air quality standards are defined very differently compared to e.g. the U.S. EPA.
