Looks like a classical case to me! (Caution: satire) The emphasis here is on all-girls Catholic high school. What were the parents of this long time tomboy thinking?
Is this really a case of transgender or more like a protest or rebellion against parents?
Are tomboys necessarily prone to transgender? Very doubtful given the actually vast past experience with many tomboys. Are not many tomboys very fine being female, just not the feminine kind?
And journalists at the Houston Chronicle present this as something special????
"There’s something about the skirt that makes Beau Beaudette flinch. Beau is a freshman at an all-girls’ Catholic high school on Bellaire Boulevard, and the skirt is mandatory. But Beau has always been a tomboy. Dresses like one, feels like one. "
