Nobody can measure global average temperatures (whatever that exactly is) with such accuracy! 1-2 degrees Celsius is well within measurement error or uncertainty! It is such a colossal pretense of knowledge (Friedrich Hayek)!
The standard reference "above pre-industrial temperatures" is so phony that it stinks! When did the last Ice Age end? About 1850!
