This event seems a bit mysterious! Caveat: I am not familiar with the details!
However, it does not look to good for the U.S. Marine Corps. Maybe these Marines were cooks or administrative staff.
These three U.S. Marines were not capable or willing of a serious defense against their juvenile attackers. No injured attackers were apparently reported. Don't Marines learn hand to hand combat etc.? I bet that had these three soldiers taken a martial arts defensive position and just knocked out a few of their attackers, the rest of this mob would have run away like cowards realizing they were dealing with professional combatants! Marines should know how to deal with punks!
