Florida Governor DeSantis blasts McCarthy debt deal as inadequate with too much more spending and debt

I am not familiar with the published details of this compromise, but it appears that the Speaker of the House did not do a great job here!

Let's see how hard this presidential contender will push! Hopefully, he will not back down!

Hopefully, the GOP and Democratic members of the U.S. Congress will do their part if this deal is not good and vote no! The excessive and lavish federal spending has to come to an end!

DeSantis said the problem with the deal is a it did little to reverse the massive amounts of spending that got added to the federal budget during the pandemic, making only minor reductions to trillions of annual new spending since 2020. 
 
“I think that we’ve gotten ourselves on a trajectory here, really, since March of 2020 with some of the Covid spending and totally reset the budget, and they’re sticking with that, and I think that’s just going to be totally inadequate to get us in a better spot,” ..."
