Leaked Documents Outline Department of Homeland Security’s Plans to Police Disinformation

The Homeland Security Act of 2002 was back then already a very controversial law that was born out of the immense shock over the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Understandably, our elected representatives wanted to show resolve!

Could it be that the vast powers granted to the DHS are being abused to spy on citizens and for censorship?

Could it be that the law does not even contain such things as monitoring or investigations into free speech of U.S. citizens? You would think so!

Should the GOP takeover both houses, perhaps it is high time to scrap or revise the law to prevent such abuses by the DHS!
