Johns Hopkins University: Telltale signs of a 'tripledemic'. Really!

How much is alarmism and hysteria? With every passing day, we will have even better diagnostics, treatments, and preventative options!

Worse than average flue season? How much worse? 1% or 50% worse?

Where are these rather what seems unusual RSV infections in children coming from?

The article makes big claims, but is very short on statistics & data!

"Public health experts warn we are likely facing a "tripledemic," the convergence of flu, COVID-19, and the respiratory syncytial virus, or RSV.
Early data suggests that the U.S. is in for a worse than average flu season, and high levels of RSV in children are already straining pediatric hospitals across the country. These factors, compounded by COVID and the ever-possible chance of a new variant, are sounding alarm bells in health care systems ...
I think in general, that has led to a relaxing of restrictions related to COVID, which has gotten us back into this mindset of, "Respiratory viruses will happen and, for the most part, you're going to be fine if you get one."
But we're forgetting that there are still going to be thousands of people who die every year from RSV, flu, and COVID for years to come. I don't know what the right balance is, to be very honest. ..."
