Who knew flies could be this useful in Tanzania

Recommendable! Africa is becoming a hotbed for innovation!

"They harvest fly larvae using food waste in order to produce high-protein animal feed - and the waste product is used as fertiliser."

"Biobuu is currently [ca. 2018] scaling up its maggot factory that uses native insects to eat organic waste. These insects are then dried out to be used as feed. Our factory is producing millions of maggots per day through our breeding and treating tons of food waste. We are also producing high nitrogen organic fertilizer." (Source)
