Some websites, in particular, news websites use tons of annoying advertisement to distract you from reading their articles. Of course, one should not visit these annoying websites anymore.
It is peculiar though, that Google Chrome browser offers this very useful reader mode feature, but some websites (e.g. https://justthenews.com/) are able to turn this feature off. The aforementioned website is also able to suppress the Chrome extension Just Read!
If Google is not being paid to suppress the read only feature, then is it possible that Google Chrome was hacked?
