Ecofascism is probably a very good description of what we observe is has been happening in many Western societies for decades.
It comprises of totalitarian and dictatorial measures by big government to impose a societal and economic order justified by claims of saving the planet (not the people)!
It's propaganda and demagoguery consists of e.g. the Global Warming hoax and the Climate Change religion.
