Mobile YuMi robot demos future of healthcare robotics

ABB estimates that by as early as 2025, up to 60,000 non-surgical robots will be employed by hospitals around the world!

The total number of hospitals globally appears to be hard to come by. I tried Google and Bing search engines.  According to the World Bank, there were on average 2.7 hospital beds per 1,000 population worldwide. Based on that there would be very roughly one such robot per every 315 hospital beds in 2025 on average globally (if I did not screw up calculations)! What a fantastic outlook!

Mobile YuMi robot demos future of healthcare robotics: ABB opened its first global healthcare research hub on the Texas Medical Center campus, showcasing a number of concepts, including a mobile YuMi robot.
