I watched recently this excellent documentary called “Stonehenge Empire” released by the Smithsonian Channel.
Some Highlights
Unfortunately, my memories are fading …
- The site of Stonehenge is much larger than previously thought
- The site was probably chosen, because at a near by spring stones would change color to a shining purple when dried
- Women warriors were probably involved in defending villages at Stonehenge
- There were a number of other remarkable facts ...
