I stepped into a McDonald's restaurant today (8/6/2026) in the Phoenix, Arizona area, the first time in the last 1-2 years or so to quickly grab some food. I looked at the menu and thought to myself way too expensive and left!
It does not help that the McDonald's restaurants nowadays may look better and more refined or fancier or more upscale, but it is the food and pricing that ultimately counts in the very competitive fast food business in the US!
