"Nearly 250 million honey bees caused a buzz in northwestern Washington State on Friday when a truck hauling hives overturned near the Canadian border.
Sheriff’s deputies, county public works employees, and several bee experts responded to the scene, trying to recover and reset the hives after the trailer rolled into a ditch.
Authorities hoped to recover the queen bees, whose scent helps attract the honey bees back to the hive. Many were expected to return, while others were likely to swarm the area and start new hives."
