He lived from 1951 to 2005. I did not know that until now. Although, I know and I like many of his songs very well since about the early 1980s. I believe it was his time with Change and their album titled The Glow of Love, when I first became aware of this singer.
I only stumbled across this fact when just I Google searched for the cause of his fairly early death.
Reportedly, he remained closeted about his private life to the very end. I don't want to speculate why he did, but my hunch is that one of his reasons was his family (parents and his two sisters), but his privacy might have been another good reason.
Amazing given his songs and his seductive velvet voice and looks probably loved by many women!
