A proposal from another nutty professor! Thank God, he is emeritus! What an utter fool and advocate for central Big Government by eliminating state governments! He wants to reduce the three levels of territorial government in America to only two levels, central and local government!
Federalism is one of the pillars/cornerstones of the great experiment in human history called Democracy in America since Alexis de Tocqueville (in 1835/40)! Federalism e.g. allows for experimentation (laboratory of democracy), voting by feet and many more benefits.
