How much work can be done from home and be valuable and productive for businesses?
If the daily commuter traffic was reduced by let's say higher than 25%, then the urgency of introducing or government forcing of electric vehicles is grotesque!
Remote work and video conferencing etc. also contribute to considerably reduce e.g. business travel. Reduced need for business travel is perhaps one reason why Boeing is falling apart (quite literally). 😊
Caveat: More and more people drive cars with rising economic prosperity and living standards across the world. Fossil fuels are definitely finite, but the question is when will we run out. And e.g. how about synthetic fuels.
