This is not the latest news, but given that dictator Daniel Ortega (age 79, in power since 1979) was such a darling of the leftists it worth mentioning that he has become like the preceding dictatorship he toppled.
Once upon a time it were the Catholic Church who helped the Sandinistas to win the struggle against the previous Somoza dictatorship.
Latin America's (incl. Cuba) love affair with too many dictatorships (strong men) is horrible! What is wrong with that part of the world!!!
