Such a law may please some constituents and garner some support and media attention!
However, I have serious doubts that such a law is really enforceable! E.g. what about access to the Internet/World Wide Web?
Is such a law a indication that Ron DeSantis was not a suitable and viable candidate for president and lost to Trump?
