I guess, the study is stating the obvious! Why not have transgender females or males compete in separate sports events by their adopted gender?

The other option would be to give up on any gender distinctions in sports. Let the games begin irrespective of gender. Simply, the best athlete or team wins! This option would be the easiest to implement! I have a strong hunch that transgender people will oppose this option!
