Some doctors think they have a license to do anything
Some or a few doctors are monsters! They too willingly and readily violate their and ancient Hippocratic Oath (Do no harm!)!
Case in point: Any doctor who thinks he/she has a calling/mission or is all to willing or way too easy going to commit genital mutilation of teenagers (double mastectomy, converting the vagina or penis) in the name of "gender dysphoria" or as part of the horrific euphemism "gender affirming care" is dubious! This is unconscionable!
Unfortunately, Dr. Mengele was no exception nor a historical aberration!

On the vile demagoguery about the incident on the U.S. Capitol on January 6th?
The heavy and relentless demagoguery about this event is very annoying and disturbing! It is worthy of a banana republic! The events of this day were much more complex and dynamic than the demagogues want us to believe.
The so called storm on the U.S. Capitol totally pales compared to the weeks of many orgies of violence that followed the death of the lifetime criminal and addict George Floyd, who resisted his arrest by police. The police officer responsible for his death was adjudicated in the court of law and sentenced to over 22 years in prison! How about the perpetrators of the orgies of violence?
If it is true as was reported multiple times that the authorities in charge of U.S. Capitol security had advanced prior knowledge about a possible "storm or riot or attack" why did they fail so spectacularly? Where there plain cloth police or FBI officers in the crowd? Did some of them perhaps actively incite the crowd like provocateurs? How much did some police officers collaborate with the crowd?
If there really had been an attack or riot on the U.S. Capitol as the demagogues incessantly claim, then heavily armed citizens could have easily committed a very bloody massacre on this day (possibly several Representatives and Senators killed)! Instead it was more like a peaceful assembly of unarmed citizens inside the building almost as if amazed tourists wandered around and marveled at the halls of power!
Remember: The only killed person that day was an unarmed female citizen inside the building shot by a police officer. We do not want to explicitly mention the skin color of the female citizen and the police officer here, because had it been a black woman and a white police officer all hell would have broken loose again!

Why did Italy's Prime Minister Meloni waste time to visit in person the 46th President?
For that matter, why does any head of state these days want to visit the senile, demented, and corrupt 46th President in person to give him a photo opportunity? Big mistake! He should be boycotted! Do not support a banana republic!
Meloni interrupted the summer vacation of the 46th President and his complicit wife on the beach! Let him do his campaign from the basement again or from the beach!

Modern Western wisdom: Never say never
I knew this expression in German language (Sage niemals nie) since my childhood days and I have wholeheartedly embraced it all my life.
I just learnt that this adage is likely not ancient Chinese wisdom. So I became curious.
I suspected it was perhaps ancient Greek or Roman wisdom or Indian or Persian.
Perhaps this concept was expressed in ancient times in a different way, but perhaps not so succinctly and aptly.
According to Google Search "“Never say never.” This expression was first recorded in Charles Dickens's Pickwick Papers (1837)." Microsoft Bing Search delivers a similar result.

CoreWeave came 'out of nowhere' poised to make billions off AI with its GPU cloud
CoreWeave was founded in 2017 by three commodities traders who turned their cryptocurrency mining hobby into an Ethereum mining company, using GPUs to verify blockchain transactions — doing business out of a New Jersey data center. By 2019, the founders had pivoted — fortuitously, in hindsight — to building a specialized cloud infrastructure spanning seven facilities that offered GPU acceleration at scale. ..."

What is long Covid-19?
It is primarily an attempt to perpetuate what was in fact a rather harmless global pandemic that largely ended significantly before the year 2023 started. Alarmism and hysteria are being exploited!
This is very annoying and disturbing!
Yes, Covid-19 was extremely infectious, but not directly very lethal. Most of the infected had no or mild symptoms and so on. Healthy children, teenagers and younger adults were not really at risk and so on. Most infected died of other causes than Covid-19.
The coronavirus "are a large family of respiratory viruses that includes COVID-19, Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS), and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). Coronaviruses cause diseases in animals and humans. They often circulate among camels, cats, and bats, and can sometimes evolve and infect people. In humans, the viruses can cause mild respiratory infections, like the common cold, but can lead to serious illnesses, like pneumonia." (Source). On the spectrum between mild and serious diseases, I estimate the SARS-CoV-2 virus to be closer to mild diseases than serious diseases.
Most like most of these many claims of long Covid-19 are exaggerations or else!
It is great business to do so for the medical profession, pharmaceutical industry and others. Cui bono?

The “unknome”: a database of human genes we know almost nothing about
This is a new paper to be published by PLOS Biology, but it is still under embargo until 8/1/2023. Sounds promising!
"Sharpening the focus on unknown proteins to accelerate research"
From the abstract:
"Researchers from the United Kingdom hope that a new, publicly available database they have created will shrink, not grow, over time. That’s because it is a compendium of the thousands of understudied proteins encoded by genes in the human genome, whose existence is known but whose functions are mostly not. The database, dubbed the “unknome” ... Their own investigations of a subset of proteins in the database reveal that a majority contribute to important cellular functions, including development and resilience to stress. ..."
