Sexual evolution. How 500 Million Years of Sex, Gender, and Mating Shape Modern Relationships. Really!

Incredible how hard the AAAS [American Association for the Advancement of Science] tries to indoctrinate with the diversity/gender  ideology!

Whether animals are gender aware is probably a huge question! Not to mention sex aware. Thus, I have some serious doubts about this book.

They try to use biology in support /defense of human gender ideology/diversity! Junk science! Again obvious misleading by conflating sex and gender [a human construct] by the AAAS!

The author of the book, i.e. Nathan H. Lents, seems to be fairly unknown. His lifetime citation count is only 3,111 citations according to Google Scholar. This is very low for a scholar who publishes since 2002.

"What we're Enjoying [book review] The Sexual Evolution [a book by] Nathan Lents
It’s a tricky time to talk about sex and gender—but perhaps that’s what makes it the right time for evolutionary biologist Nathan Lents’s book The Sexual Evolution . “Lents makes a bulletproof case that sexual diversity exists in the natural world and does so as a result of a deep phylogeny and continued selection pressures,” writes reviewer Justin Garcia. And while making this case, Lents also explores “how approaching biology and sexual diversity thoughtfully can better our science, deepen our knowledge, and expand our compassion for others [???].” Ultimately, Garcia concludes, “At a time when ignorance and misinformation about sex, gender, reproduction, and intimacy abound, we could all benefit from reading this research-packed tour.”"

Diversity is a feature, not a bug (no public access) "An interdisciplinary tour of sexual strategies in the animal kingdom offers lessons for humanity [???]"
