Egypt agrees to form Arab security force in Gaza after Israel-Hamas War - report

Good news! Looks like a step in the right direction!

Probably, Arab countries need to step up helping to govern the Gaza Strip for a transition period and to prevent any terrorist groups to gain control over Gaza Strip again!

However, the news suggests that some Arab countries are only willing to be active in parts of the Gaza Strip. That seems short sighted and possibly doomed to failure!

Why not turn Gaza Strip into an oasis of prosperity and high living standards to become the Singapore of the Middle East? More vision and can do spirit please!

"During talks between the United States, Israel, and Arab countries held in Bahrain at the beginning of the month at the latest Arab Summit, Egypt agreed to participate in an Arab security force in the Gaza Strip, according to the Qatari news site Al-Araby Al-Jadeed. 

An Egyptian source told the Qatari news site that Cairo expressed its willingness to participate in an Arab security force that would enter specific areas in the Gaza Strip for an extended period of time on the condition that the IDF completely withdraws from the strip at the end of the war. ..."
