Is it a pure linguistic coincidence in the English language that carnivore and warrior sound somewhat similar or are my senses defective (I admit I was too lazy to do research)? Or does it have perhaps a deeper meaning?
What came first cannibalism or warfare? Humans have been cannibals before civilization was introduced. How did group skirmishes turn into warfare? Did warfare precede civilization? Maybe not.
In the beginning, there were human carnivores devouring animals. Later warriors evolved to kill other human beings.
