Will the external scrambling and meddling in Africa be finally pushed back by the African people?

I am an eternal optimist! There are signs this is actually happening!

So many powers (European colonizers, Arabs, Muslims, Russia, communists like former Soviet Union, China, Cuba etc.) for so many centuries have tried to impose their control over or tried to subjugate African peoples and regions.

Now roughly half a century after many African countries became independent, positive change is coming and noticeable! A United States of Africa is possibly on the horizon.
