The killing of a young man in Paris by a police officer. Some background

Update of 7/12/2023: Today, I read in the NZZ that the car had a Polish license plate and belonged to Polish network of car dealers.

At least Wikipedia mentions:
"... he was "known to the police, particularly for resisting arrest", and had been charged with resisting the previous weekend and five times since 2021. His judicial file included 15 recorded incidents, including use of false license plates, driving without insurance, and for the sale and consumption of drugs. ... [Does this mean, this individual was driving cars as early as age of 15? Given this record should he have not been in juvenile detention?]
According to the public prosecutor of Nanterre, two Paris Police Prefecture motorcycle officers noticed a Mercedes-Benz A Class AMG with a Polish license plate driving at high speed in a bus lane, driven by a young-looking person at around 7:55 am. The officers activated their warning signals (audible and visual) and indicated to the driver of the car, then stationary at a red traffic light, to stop. The vehicle started moving and ran the red light. The officers followed the car and alerted their superiors via radio. The car committed multiple traffic violations, endangering a pedestrian and a cyclist. ...
The rear passenger was arrested when he exited the vehicle. The front right passenger fled. ...
In France, there is legal basis for the police to use firearms during traffic stops under failure to comply. ..."

Many Western news media tried very hard to create the (phony) impression/narrative of a young, innocent male who was shot by a police officer as an act of racism and a case of failed assimilation/integration of immigrants!

The news media did not mention at all or rarely e.g. that there were two other passengers in the car.
