One simple solution to tackle the gender pay gap: State wage transparency laws

Nice example of enormous stupidity and naivete! Pure demagoguery!

Someone promoting a so called simple solution sends out immediately a severe warning sign!

The gender pay gap is a often repeated myth and a lie! E.g. women and men do choose different jobs at different times etc., which come with different remuneration!

Government enforced wage transparency for businesses is most likely unconstitutional! Sometimes businesses have good reason why they do not make salaries/wages public e.g. for competitive reasons. Business pay structures are rarely  frozen in time, they can be very dynamic in response to market situation etc.

"... Six states recently approved wage transparency laws that require most employers to include pay ranges in job ads. Colorado debuted the policy in 2021 as a strategy to help shrink the persistent gender wage gap. California and Washington enacted similar laws earlier this year, and in September, New York will do the same. ..."
