Is government mandated food labeling a good choice? Clearly NO!
In Western countries like the United States there are even serious questions about the constitutionality of such government interventions!
If sovereign consumers want food labeling then private businesses in a free market economy will deliver! It allows private enterprises to distinguish themselves from their competitors etc. etc.
Government's role: Law enforcement e.g. if labels significantly disagree with content.
