About the difference between a refugee and an illegal immigrant

Since demented and senile 46th President has opened the southern border of the U.S. to millions of illegal immigrants without any restrictions whatsoever. This by itself is an impeachable offense!

Thus, the question about refugee vs. illegal immigrant has become very relevant again.

A refugee is a person, who flee his/her country of residence because of  severe political and/or economic reasons. Many times they flee abruptly in response to changing conditions. Usually, they flee to a neighboring country and stay there at least temporarily. Refugees are protected under international law.

An illegal immigrant is a person who leaves his/her country of residence to migrate to a country of choice usually with better opportunities. Often times, these persons pay human traffickers to help them with their migration.

Of course, any refugee or illegal immigrant should be properly registered in any transit or destination country as best as possible. Destination countries should be allowed to review any refugee or illegal immigrant in transit countries.

Then we have countries that do not allow refugees or illegal immigrants to stay or they promote/condone their transfer/transit to other countries. Are these countries being held accountable?

Both, the refugee and the illegal immigrant have a responsibility to try to improve the conditions in their country to the best of their abilities before they leave!

I am sure I am missing something here, so I will amend this blog post as time goes on.

The demented and senile 79 years old 46th President has been a lifetime career politician and a frequent habitual liar for decades. He is an empty suit who will say and do anything to stay in power or to promote his glory. The Biden clan’s shady, but lucrative dealings with Russia, China, Ukraine etc. have probably compromised the 46th President. If he continues like that, he sure will go down as one of the worst presidents ever!
