I just looked up one item on Wikipedia and was presented with a new pop-up requesting more donations saying something like that Wikipedia receives only on average $15 U.S. dollars per donor and whether its users would like it better to see advertisements.
Yes, Wikipedia, why don’t you place some advertisement on Wikipedia articles as long as it is reasonable, decent, well selected, and foremost unobtrusive.
Go ahead, make some money and finally improve articles to the benefit of humankind!
