Just saw an excerpt of an interview with the director of the National Institutes of Health (National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases). He is a physician. He was very unconvincing.
A Bunch Of Morons In The Obama Administration
The president is the chief moron!
We have recently learnt a lot about nonsensical, partially absurd, arguments against mandated quarantine for returning health care staff from West Africa coming from the Obama Administration.
We still do not fully understand how Ebola is contracted. Even doctors and nurses get infected. Thus, a mandated brief quarantine of 20 or 30 days for returning medical staff makes a lot of sense. I would also venture to guess it would be accepted and understood by most of the returning medical staff.
It is quite absurd for administration officials to argue that such a reasonable measure would discourage medical staff to go to West Africa or other similar arguments.
