Saudi Arabia’s vast crude oil exports now increasingly depend on the Suez Canal

Maybe it is time to improve and enlarge the old and narrow Suez Canal?

"Since the Iran war began, Saudi Arabia has bypassed the Strait of Hormuz by shipping oil through the Bab-al Mandeb Strait in the Red Sea. Now Houthi attacks are threatening that workaround, forcing more crude onto a longer, costlier and technically challenging journey through the Suez Canal."
