That is how the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) likes to refer to this historic global warming/climate change period. Just an aberration!
Notice, humanity survived this historic warming period very well! It may have even contributed to the magnificent Renaissance, the amazing Stradivari/Amati violins and much more.
Why not call the current global warming/climate period an aberration be done with it?
P.S. The Medieval Warming Period was followed by the Little Ice Age (which ended in the early 19th century) followed by the current warming period.
