Exclusive: Amazon Is on the Cusp of Using More Robots Than Humans in Its Warehouses. Really!

Update 7/1/2025: Amazon has deployed the one million robots in its warehouses. 

So what! Most of these robots only do a very narrowly defined jobs! Wall Street Journal totally missed the point!

The real interesting case is when we have many fewer robots doing all the jobs/work of many more humans in a e.g. warehouse. I bet, we will have this capability within the next 3 to 8 years (or in less than 10 years) or so.

Techcrunch naively and narrow mindedly framed this news as "Robots don’t unionize"!
