Wind energy growth will create 530K jobs in the US by 2028

This is probably what wind power is all about! A massive, domestic jobs program financed by taxpayers!

Hopefully, President Trump will put an end to this insane boondoggle!

IEEE-USA SmartBrief "The Global Wind Workforce Outlook 2024-2028 forecasts a need for over 530,000 technicians by 2028 to support wind energy growth, with 40% of these roles filled by newcomers. The report highlights a potential 8% shortage of skilled technicians if current trends continue. Mechanical engineers will be crucial in designing and maintaining wind turbines, with significant opportunities in Texas, the Midwest and the Gulf states. Opportunities for Engineers Increase as Wind Energy Grows "Engineers are poised to play a crucial role in building and maintaining a global wind fleet amid the sector’s need to find and recruit more than 530,000 workers over the next four years."

Don Quixote is ready to tilt windmills!
