Tobacco 21 policies could avert more than half a million premature deaths. Really!

Raising the minimum age from 18 to 21 was unconstitutional and injust!

Splitting the minimum age of buying a handgun (age 21) and a long gun (age 18) is similarly dubious and a lousy political compromise!

But 18 year olds are allowed to vote!
