The ChatGPT maker said it’s reviewing indications that the Chinese AI startup extricated lots of data from OpenAI’s tools to help develop its own technology. OpenAI’s terms of service forbid customers from using its AI models’ outputs to do that. DeepSeek didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment. An announcement about its cheaply made AI model rattled markets Monday, but some investors doubled down and bought stocks."
