Is gender a spectrum of possibilities and choices? One of the questions of our time? Fluidity of gender is great, but some may exploit it for nefarious or other reasons.
Do women or men generally have to simply accept that someone at some point chooses a gender different from one's biological sex and automatically gains all the privileges that come with it? We may need legal criteria to establish legitimacy.
Many ideologues and demagogues of our time like to point out inequities and disparities. Well is it not an inequity or disparity that apparently significantly more men choose to become women than vice versa or are the transgender males in hiding?
Which bathroom are they allowed to use or which sports to participate in? Just a few of the currently again hotly debated issues.
