Syrians searched the notorious Saydnaya prison looking for thousands of people who disappeared during President Bashar al-Assad’s regime.

Oh my god! What a monster the son of Hafez al-Assad was!

"Hundreds of men were freed after Syrians stormed the facility near Damascus before Assad fled the country yesterday. As many as 13,000 people were executed in that prison during the first six years of the anti-Assad uprising, which began in 2011, Amnesty International said. Many others were killed after being tortured and deprived of food, water and medicine. Meanwhile, the U.S. is scrambling to shape post-Assad Syria."
