The U.S. is loosing as the once worldwide admired and respected leader of the free world if one of the two major parties in an essentially two party system has become a total failure. The enemies of open and free societies are rejoicing!
More negative repercussions are afoot! How close are we to World War III?
The Europeans have recognized the great peril! Finland and Norway gave up their decades long strict neutrality to join NATO. Europeans are rearming to counter any threat by Putin the Terrible (plus ally China)! Of course, there is a silver lining in this and Trump may like it that finally the Europeans are increasing their defense spending etc. instead of relying and free riding too much on the American security umbrella.
