Kamala, a common name in India, is associated with several deities and is a symbol of wisdom. Really!

A serious case of:
  • Desperate times call for desperate measures!
  • Smoke and mirrors!
  • Junk journalism
Or to cite the famous German poet Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (1749-1832) from my hometown:
"Dafür! Gefühl ist alles;
Name ist Schall und Rauch"
(Roughly translated:
Therefore, emotion is everything/A name is like noise and smoke)
(Gängiges, davon abgeleitetes deutsches Sprichwort/Binsenweisheit: Namen sind wie Schall und Rauch)
Pardon me, I am digressing!

Since Mistress Kamala with no major achievements of her own to show or run on (other than giggling and word salads), her supporters resort to all kinds of subterfuge and misinformation!

This piece was written by a "Professor of Religious Studies and Comparative Literature, University of California, Davis"

"Ever since Vice President Kamala Harris became a presence on the national scene, her name – a common one for women in India – has attracted a lot of attention, most specifically for its pronunciation [???]. ..."

The person on the blurred photo is not Mistress Kamala but the author and professor Archana Venkatesan
