Europe’s four industries are Merchants of Death according to WHO. Really!

It is high time for Western countries to defund the WHO! The WHO under Tedros Adhanom has become very disturbing in its propaganda and demagoguery!

New, but often regurgitated demagoguery spread by Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and the World Health Organisation!

"Europe’s Commercial Determinants of Death
Tobacco, alcohol, ultra-processed foods, and fossil fuels—all produced by a small number of transnational corporations—kill 2.7 million Europeans annually, per a WHO report released yesterday.
The corporations use their economic and political power to nix regulations that would protect public health but threaten profit margins.
The businesses also exploit vulnerable populations with targeted marketing, misleading messages, and false claims, said WHO European director Hans Henri P. Kluge in a statement.
Annual deaths in Europe, per the report:
Smoking: 1.15 million
Fossil fuel (ozone pollution and particulate matter pollution): 578,908
Alcohol: 426,857
Diets high in processed meats and salt: 117,290 and 252,187, respectively
WHO’s response: The organization called for “strict regulation to curb industry power” and promote public health, according to DW. ..."

According to WHO:
"A pioneering [???] report from the WHO Regional Office for Europe spells out clearly how specific powerful industries are driving ill-health and premature mortality across Europe and central Asia, including through interfering in and influencing prevention and control efforts for non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as cardiovascular diseases, cancers and diabetes, and their risk factors including tobacco, alcohol, unhealthy diets and obesity. The report calls on governments to implement mechanisms to identify conflicts of interest and protect public policies from industry interference."
