Methodology
The U.S. Transgender Survey (USTS) was administered online in English and Spanish, and open to binary and nonbinary transgender people aged 16 and older residing in the United States, a U.S. territory, or a U.S. military base overseas. The survey instrument included questions covering a wide range of experiences and issues, such as those related to health care, employment, education, housing, and public accommodations. Findings represent the overall findings for each topic examined, presented as weighted percentages. Results are only reported for respondents aged 18 and older, except as noted for findings that also include 16- and 17-year-olds. Findings presented in figures and tables may not always add up to 100% due to rounding. ..."
